It's Taylor HAM. I've been eating this all of my life and around North Jersey you ALWAYS ask for Taylor Ham (pork roll is for the uninformed). My Mother always bought a 3lb. ham and had it sliced at the deli so we always had it on hand. It's not only great as a breakfast meat but you should try it grilled on a hamburger (also known as a Lizzie Burger for Liz TAYLOR).

Where else can you call frantic on Thursday for an overnight delivery and not get charged for it? I called in my order since I decided at the last minute this is a perfect wedding gift for a wedding tonight. It came by UPS yesterday by the time I got home from work, all for nine dollars. I offered to pay Express but was told "There is no reason to charge extra since your zip code is overnight from our store."
I was asked to leave a message in the guest book if I was satisfied when my order arrived. Make that a yes! Thank you Kim, Kate and the UPS driver who stood waiting for it to be packed at almost 6pm, a big thank you.

Mmmmm pork roll.

After ordering elsewhere by mistake, I am so glad we found our way back "home" to this site. I want my pork roll when I want it. I ordered Wednesay and had it Friday, so thank you again for helping me with a last minute gift. We had pork roll this morning just like every Sunday in Bloomfield growing up.

I can find the little boxes but not the rolls. Why don't you sell rolls here in stores? I think they taste different, but I might be crazy!

I recently moved from NJ to SC! I can't get used to "YALL" instead of "You-Guy's", But, most of all I miss TAYLOR HAM. Ask a grocer and he looks at me like I have three heads. I respond...It's a JERSEY thing! Thank God for your on-line web site! Always a "Jersey girl"
