Before purchasing Pork Roll or any perishable food items anywhere, please read this information from the Federal Government's guidelines for Consumers:

Our packaging methods may include dry-ice, Cool Shield® Insulation, high-quality gel packs, and EPS foam shippers, that are provided as necessary for no extra charge. (Wholesale orders are charged for crates and cargo containers) 

EPS foam inserts assembled in postal boxes are not sufficient to ensure cold delivery of perishable food. These are purchased by some companies for as little as .99 and used as coolers, but they are not the same as molded EPS shipping cartons. 

You do not have to pay extra for shipping to guarantee cold delivery from Jersey Pork Roll.com/NJPorkRoll.com unless you live in Hawaii. 

Our shipping methods have been approved by the USDA since August 2004. They were approved again as of Oct 10, 2006. The USDA governs interstate shipping, and we received approval prior to opening for business in 2004. We have been inspected by our Board of Health since 1989. That is not true of all food selling web sites, including some of the sites currently selling Taylor and Sabrett products. 

Please be aware that anyone can buy a domain name and begin selling food with out food handling certification, or proper knowledge of food safety. Companies that open for business without the proper knowledge of food safety, USDA and FSIS laws and rules risk the health of every customer as well as the reputation of all Taylor and Sabrett vendors. 

We ship many pork roll orders within 24 hours of receiving your order. Many orders go out the same day you place your order, so please be prepared for its arrival in 1 - 3 business days.

If you live in a 1 - 2 day delivery area from NJ, we often use UPS and you will have your package the next business day. (NY, CT, MA, RI, PA, MD, DC, VA, WV, ME, NH, and more) We do NOT charge extra for 1 - 2 day delivery, or rush orders whether you choose Express or not. Quite simply, if your order arrives in the office before our trucks depart, it will be shipped immediately if at all possible at our regular low shipping prices. 

Taylor Provisions manufactures and packages all of our pork roll products, including the pre-sliced, vacuum packaged Taylor Pork Roll in boxes, and Trenton Pork Roll. We do not open and slice any products as that is not allowed by Federal Law, nor have we ever done so. When you choose which site to order from, make sure your products will bear a USDA Inspection Number and expiration date. You have the right as a consumer through the Freedom of Information Act to request the results of USDA Inspections of any business you buy from, including web sites selling pork roll. We encourage you to do so, and welcome examination of the results of our inspections.

NJ Pork Roll is a full-time, fully operational company, shipping wholesale to restaurants, diners, and cafes, as well as shipping retail across the country.

Orders can also be picked up 7 days a week, excluding holidays, at our Piscataway, New Jersey location. (Closed some Sundays in winter months) 

As a full-time business, our orders can be shipped nationally 6 days a week.  Express orders are shipped every day except Sunday. We professionally package all orders to ensure cold, fresh delivery, no matter what your location or climate is. We do not require you spend extra money for EPS shipping containers to guarantee your delivery. 

As experienced shippers, we know how the US Postal Service routes mail and stores it in transit, and at no time will your order sit in a warehouse. The USPS does not have warehouses or storage facilities, but UPS and FEDEX do. US Mail moves 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. (The only exceptions are for packages that are not Express delivery arriving on Sundays.)

The health and safety of our customers is our most important concern. Our liability insurance carrier does not allow us to ship open food products, nor ship in an unsafe manner. Food-borne illness is a serious concern for all in the industry -- all reputable companies have liability insurance. 

We have shipped thousands of packages to all 50 states since we've been in business. As shown in the guest book from April 2005, we monitor the temperature of every order we receive by the zip code provided on the order form. Only during an excessive heat wave is shipping delayed, as we did last summer when average temperatures reached over 100 degrees throughout most of the country. Your porkroll order is guaranteed to arrive cold or it will be replaced. 

Our guarantee is not something newly added to our website. Our research with temperature control analysts and engineers in the packaging industry began in August, 2004.
